I find the iPAQ to be a really useful backup to my Outlook. It not only enables me to have all my Outlook details with me when ever I travel, but also gives me a nice warm feeling that I have all that information readily to hand if the network is playing up or is unavailable for any reason.
The latest upgrade to WinCE2002 has now added some interesting new functionality. For those of you using a Win 2000 network with a public IP address (eg an ADSL broadband link with fixed IP addressing) you can now connect the iPAQ through a Virtual Private Network and synchronise with your Outlook via your mobile phone. That makes for a great way of collecting your emails while on the move.
And did you know that you can download all the news headlines into you iPAQ at the same time?
